Description
My Daughters
“My Lord has bestowed Ghada, Assia, Nora, and Ladan upon me. Through them, I am capable of appreciation with a heart full of mercy and happiness. Indeed, they are the genuine extension of that warm route to my mother, for which I am so grateful. Like a gentle shade, she constantly embraced me, overwhelming me with her affection. She imbued me with much of her life, spirit, blood, and language. Had I not experienced the wonderful teachings of my mother, I would not have been able to savor the sweetness of hope, satisfaction, and beauty.”
Does it stand to reason to speak eloquently of women’s rights and their status in Islam, while we fall short in practicing these principles in our daily lives—whether at home, school, or in the mosque?
